Immaculate   40x30"

Gesso, acrylics, plaster. Artist's Notes: Look very close. It's craziness. Splatters and smears and scrapes and spills. Colors over colors over bare canvas...but then step away. Just slowly move back and it calms. Like the view of the earth from space...it all comes together and flows in it's own sense of sanity.

Bloom   15x15"

Acrylic, plaster, gesso. Artist's Notes: I was building and layering and adding color. I stepped away for a bit, and when I returned, it was a flower! Hence the name...

Ancient   38"x38"

Acrylic, plaster, gesso. Artist's Notes: I love textures. I love feeling y paintings. But the colors weren't working. I left it for a long while. When I came back, I loved the transparencies and the lines and crevasses. o I stopped. It reminds me of an ancient stone wall.

Fireflies   37x31.25"

Gesso, acrylics and gel medium. Artist's Notes: I kept adding layers here. This honestly was 3 different paintings. It's hardest to decide when to stop. I loved the energy at this point.

The movement draws you in and keeps you looking around. For some reason fireflies

came to mind, bright streaks of light flashing through the darkness.

Spring   42x34"

Gesso, acrylics and gel medium.

Waves   24x36"

Acrylic, gesso.  Artist's Notes: I love to see the energy of the paint. Flows and splashes are like emotions, passion. Then the stripes bring it in. This piece can be hung in any ditection - keep turning it 90 degrees and see which feels right.

Clarity  24x18"

Acrylic, plaster on wood.  I loved the texture of the wood. I started with plaster, then purple, then yellow. Then I stopped. Came back with the RED. When I step back, I see a red haze parting to reveal a trail leading to a new begining.
